Online Music Store Beatport to Start Accepting Bitcoin Payments, Launches Curated NFT

A major US online music store associated with DJs has joined the crypto adoption craze by accepting payments in bitcoin. Beatport is the latest company to roll out a cryptocurrency payment gateway after signing a partnership with crypto-currency exchange

According to Music Week, the digital music retailer will officially launch in June, with all customers able to pay subscriptions or buy tracks via bitcoin (BTC) processed through the cryptocurrency exchange in Hong Kong.

Robb McDaniels, CEO of Beatport, has expressed a keen interest in cryptocurrencies and non-disruptive tokens (NFTs) and sees Beatport’s launch of Bitcoin Pay as an important step in the digital music industry:
